“We are delighted to share these horses with the public and it is a way to extend the movie experience
,” said Susan Kelly, marketing and special events director at the resort, which serves as a venue for equestrian, corporate or private events.
In 2011, Lionsgate Films approached resort guest Gerard Paagman about their interest in acquiring several of his horses for the second movie in the Hungry Games trilogy, Kelly said.
