Lawmakers: We must protect springs and lakes

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah!

State Senator; Stop the same old tongue twisters and tell the truth so that we can get on with saving our waterways and our lives!

Tongue Twisters (A word or group of words difficult to articulate, usually because of a succession of similar consonantal sounds).

You are not the first public official to be forced out into the open to stand before the people and tell the same old hogwash that everyone already knows about!

So, what we, the public, want to know is when will our politicians stop the Side Stepping and get to work?

First, dump the Puppets (St. Johns River Water Management District counsel)

and their Master!

Second, would be to send Niagara bottling company packing!

Third, is to use Eco friendly Fertilizers only, on farms and gardens!

Forth, then let’s talk!

State Sen. Alan Hays, R-Umatilla, said protection of water resources is “perhaps one of the most complex if not the most complex issue facing the Legislature in the next four to five years.”

Hays said it is critical that nutrients currently found in the springs and lakes be removed before they get into the water bodies.

“We are trying to find ways to remove the nutrients from the storm water runoff before it gets into the aquifer,” he said.

Hays said the health of some of the lakes and rivers is another concern.

Like I said in the beginning HOGWASH!

Yes, I would like to use other stronger words however,
