Floridians rally to expand Medicaid to nearly 1 million

Some people might say

 “Better late they never!”

I say,

“Sorry it is now too late you already took the doors and window off of the Henhouse and let the foxes in!”

Patients and health advocates will rally across Florida to urge

Gov. Rick Scott and lawmakers to expand Medicaid to nearly 1 million residents.

Thursday’s rally is slated to take place in Miami, Tallahassee, Tampa and Orlando and will include a coalition of nearly 100 organizations.

They want lawmakers to accept roughly $50 billion from the federal government over the next decade to offer health coverage to residents who are too poor to qualify for tax credits in the marketplace, yet earn too much to qualify for Medicaid.

The last official census within the United States was carried out in 2010 and the east coast state of Florida recorded a total number of citizens at 18,801,310.

This would mean that there still are 17,801,310 people in Florida not in your rally,

Guess you should have thought about this rally before the Florida Election and in warmer weather?
