Why are gas prices so high?

FRED MILLER, Lady Lake Florida

Because you are trapped into their company!

If you do not like the idea of a dangerous chemical tank on your property that you are renting from your propane company, the company that sprays liquid gas around your property each time the truck comes to fill their tank and/or the gas lines and fittings running in and around your building, buy or rent solar?

Fred’s question

Why so high?

To all propane users: Isn’t it wonderful that all the folks heating with oil or natural gas, or maybe with electric, in the state of Florida will get a price break?

With oil prices going down, savings is just around the corner, but if you heat your home or water with propane you are again out of luck as always.

The state of Florida has the highest per-gallon propane prices in the country. As of December 29, 2014 the price was $4.49 per gallon. Our neighbors to the north in Georgia pay $2.29 per gallon. Let’s go north to Illinois, a little colder, and it’s $1.82 per gallon.

OK, let’s get really cold and go to North Dakota, and guess what the price is there. It’s a budget-crushing $1.65 per gallon.

I can go on and on and it’s all the same thing in all the states in this country. So just who has got their hand in the till? Someone has!
